Our Harkaway Bluestone drop face pool coping is a premium bluestone. They are manufactured to meet Australia’s stringent quality controls and specifications for both commercial and domestic applications. As is typical in all natural stone you will get shade variations between tiles in crates delivered.
Please ensure your professional installer takes tiles from all crates and mixes them prior to or during the installation process. Note: There will be naturally occurring Cat’s Paw featured on each paver, varying from none to 20% of each individual pavers surface area. Cat’s Paw is a series of small pits which is naturally formed in bluestone. Many architects and designers purposefully seek out as much cat’s paw as possible as it is commonly perceived as a natural feature that people like to show off.

About Harkaway Bluestone Drop Down Pool Coping:
These pool coping tiles are cut to the rebate (drop down) look, meaning these will match our Harkaway bluestone pavers and other bluestone tiles. These Harkaway bluestone drop face pool coping tiles will not rust or oxidize, which Chinese bluestone can be susceptible to.
Please note that there will be naturally occurring cat's paw across each individual paver, ranging from 0-10% of each individual paver's surface area. Cat's paw is a series of small, naturally formed pits in bluestone tiles. Cat's paw is often revered for its natural beauty, however, you can fill them in when grouting if you prefer a much more sleek and defined finish to your pavers. We can also arrange to have them sawn out at an additional cost.
